Cognitive Psychology and Educational Practice
- COURSE CONTENTS

Course contents: The course presents the basic cognitive structures of the human, such as memory, perception, problem solving procedures, etc., as well as the basic brain structures involved in learning (lobes, etc.) and the way they are related to educational acts. The course examines ways in which the educational design of both the material and its presentation will be compatible with the cognitive abilities of learners. Finally, optimal ways of evaluating the learning processes based on the cognitive preferences of the stakeholders are considered.
- ASSESSMENT

Assessment: Written coursework with in-class presentation, for 50% of the final grade. Written exam, in which only students who pass the coursework will be allow to sit, for 50% of the final grade.
