Postdoctoral Research Regulation
Postdoctoral Research (M.R.) is defined as research conducted in an academic unit of the University of Peloponnese by a researcher who holds a PhD degree and is accepted by the Department in the context of updating studies in relation to advanced research. Postdoctoral research has as main objectives:
- the extension of the results of the researcher's doctoral thesis to new scientific directions of interest to the Department,
- the development of new research areas in the Department, relevant to the scientific area of the researcher's thesis,
- the contribution to the approach to specific research problems of interest to the Department,
- the strengthening of scientists capable of contributing to the advancement of science, research and applications,
- the enhancement of the academic prestige and international recognition of the University's research work.
