Erasmus+ International Mobility is a program that supports the mobility of students, staff, and trainees between higher education institutions (HEIs) in Europe and beyond. It is part of the Erasmus+ program, which is the European Union's program for education, training, youth, and sport.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Erasmus+ international mobility, you must be enrolled at a higher education institution (HEI) in a programme country or partner country. Programme countries are countries fully participating in the Erasmus+ programme. Partner countries are countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme on a limited basis.

Types of Mobility

There are two main types of Erasmus+ International Mobility:

Student mobility Students can study abroad for a limited period of 3 to 12 months. They will be able to take courses at a partner HEI and receive credit for their studies.

Staff mobility: Staff can go on a teaching and/or training period abroad for up to 2 months. They will be able to share their expertise with colleagues at a partner HEI and learn new skills.

Gained work experience: Students can combine their period spent studying abroad with a traineeship to gain work experience.
