Graduate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Patras (1982). PhD from the same Department (1994). Postdoctoral Researcher until 1997. Research Associate, Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Technological Applications, TEI of Patras, (1996 to 2002). Assistant Professor, (2002 to date). He teaches courses in thermofluid processes and experimental techniques for describing them. His research interests focus on the experimental study of isothermal and chemically reactive flows, and their applications to energy, environmental and aeronautical problems. He has participated in a sufficient number of Research Projects in collaboration with Greek and foreign public and private bodies and has published papers in scientific journals and proceedings of international and national conferences.
General: Experimental Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Technical Thermodynamics, Internal Combustion Engines, Heating – Cooling – Air Conditioning, Combustion and Environmental Applications of the above.
Especially: Transport Phenomena in Turbulent Flows, Measurements of Thermofluid Parameters in Isothermal and Chemically Reactive Flows, (Laser Doppler Velocimetry "LDV" and Hot – Wire Anemometry "HWA" Methodologies), Measurement & Analysis of Random Data.
