Dr. Ioannis Kougias is a Professor at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of Peloponnese.
He received his B.Sc. from Memorial University of NFLD, Canada, his M.A. from York University of Toronto, Canada and his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics of the University of Patras. His scientific and research interests mainly focus on applied mathematical analysis, differential and integral equations, as well as modern teaching methods of mathematics and related subjects, management and organization of educational environments.
He has taught: General and Advanced Mathematics Courses, Business Statistics, Probability Theory, Statistical & Combinatorial Analysis, Mathematics of Finance, Calculus, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations in departments of the Technological Educational Institutes of Messolonghi, Epirus, Western Greece, and the former University of Agrinio.
He was Vice President of Academic Affairs, Head of the Department of Automation of the former Technological Educational Institute of Messolonghi and President of Informatics and Media Department of the former TEI of Western Greece.
