Prof. Nikolaos S. Voros, received his Diploma in Computer and Informatics Engineering, in 1996, and his PhD degree, in 2001, from University of Patras, Greece. His research interests fall in embedded/cyberphysical system design, and include specification techniques, hardware-software co-design, formal refinement techniques, and reuse practices. Dr Voros is Professor at University of the Peloponnese, Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering, where he is leading the Embedded Systems Laboratory (http://www.esdalab.ece.uop.gr) which is an official Digital Innovation Hub of European Commission (http://s3platform.jrc.ec.europa.eu/digital-innovation-hubs-tool). During the last years, Dr Voros has participated in more than 30 research projects funded by European Commission either as project manager or as scientific advisor. He has served as scientific coordinator of FP7 STREP Project 287733 ALMA and ICT coordinator for FP7 STREP Project 287720 ARMOR. Currently, Prof. Voros is the scientific coordinator of Horizon 2020 Project ARGO and the technical coordinator of Horizon 2020 Project RADIOwhich has been awarded by European Commission (http://ec.europa.eu/research/infocentre/article_en.cfm?&artid=45657&caller=SuccessStories). Dr Voros has published more than 120 referred articles in well known international journals and conferences, while he has served as associate editor in prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology, IEEE Transactions on Very Large-Scale Integration Systems, ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technologyand Systems and IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine. He has also published numerous books including «System Level Design with Reuse of System IP», «System Level Design of Reconfigurable Systems-on-Chip» and «Components and Services for IoT platforms: paving the way for IoT standards» published by Springer. He has served as General Chair in ISVLSI 2010, ARC 2018 and as Program Chair in RecoSoC 2012, FPL 2014, ISVLSI 2017 conferences. Currently, he is the director of the Master Course entitled “Smart ICT Services & Infrastructures” which is organized by Computer and Electrical Engineering department.
