The aim of the course "History of Art" is to present the basic concepts, theoretical approaches and different media, movements, currents, techniques and styles in Western Art (mid-19^th century to 2000), to practice critical ability and analyse visual material, as well as to study the relationship of artistic production with historical reality in its broadest sense.
