Athanasios Papadimitriou is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Digital Systems of the University of the Peloponnese on the field of “Hardware Security of Embedded Systems” and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (Individual Fellowship) at the Embedded Systems Laboratory of the University of Piraeus. Athanasios is a graduate of the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the National Technical University of Athens. He holds a PhD degree on the field of Hardware Security working at the LCIS and TIMA Laboratories of Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) and the Univ. Grenoble Alpes. He has experience as a Post-Doctoral Researcher on the field of Hardware Security at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission - CEA Leti, at the LCIS Laboratory of Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) and at the Embedded Systems Laboratory of the University of Piraeus. He has worked as a Research Engineer on the field of Hardware Security at Grenoble Institute of Technology - ESISAR. Additionally, he has been the Competition Coordinator of the Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) for the European region for two consecutive years.
