Costas Vassilakis is a Professor in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of the Peloponnese; he is also the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Technology and the director of the M.Sc. in Computer Science. He holds a degree from the Department of Informatics of the University of Athens (199) and a PhD from the same department (1995). He has published over 240 scientific papers in international scientific journals and conferences and has participated in more than 30 European and national research and development projects, including the H2020 projects ForeSight, CyberTrust and CROSSCULT, the NSRF TripMentor and SodaSense projects, as well as the ENIRISST and ENIRISST+ projects. He has served as PC member and referee in several international journals and conferences. He has served as a special advisor on information systems for the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center and as a special advisor to the Secretary General for Information Systems of the Greek Ministry of Finance.
