Short CVGeorge Souliotis received the B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Ioannina, Greece in 1993 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics from the University of Patras, Greece, in 1998 and 2003, respectively.
From 2005 to 2015 he was with the Department of Physics, University of Patras, Greece as a specialized technical and teaching laboratory staff, while earlier he had worked there as a researcher. From 2002 to 2015 he was an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, ΤΕΙ of Western Greece, Patras, Greece, where from 2015 to 2019 he served as a Lecturer. Since 2019 he has been a faculty member at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Peloponnese, where now, he is an Associate Professor.
He has more than twenty years of professional and research experience in the design of analog integrated circuits and systems. He has worked for multinational microelectronic companies and still serves as a consultant to companies in Greece and abroad. His research interests include analog integrated circuits, analog filters, high-speed serial transceivers (USB2, USB3, M-PHY, BLE), RF circuits up to 80 GHz for wireless transceivers, low voltage, low power electronics and others.
He is the author or co-author of more than 60 papers in high-level journals and conferences, and of two patents. He is a reviewer in more than 10 international journals. He is a senior member of IEEE.
