Sophia Kapetanaki was born in Thessaloniki. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens, holds two Master’s Degrees of the University of London and a PhD of the same University. She has participated in four Research programs at London University, the National Library of Greece and the Benaki Museum. She has edited in collaboration with the late Professor R.W. Shaprles the scientific monograph, Pseudo-Aristoteles (Pseudo-Alexander), Supplementa Problematorum (2006), ans has also published articles in conference proceedings, collective volumes and periodicals. She is Assistant Professor of Palaeography, Codicology and Text Editing at the Department of Philology of the University of the Peloponnese.
